Lets have some FUN!!!

There is a prize to be won!

I'm on a mission to be an even more fun mother and wife this summer and I thought that you might want to join me or even help me out. This was inspired from our last MOPS meeting where a mother and daughter came in and talked to us about making the summer a little more exciting and fun.

We LOVE doing things together as a family and changing things up a little bit around here. I think I'm pretty fun as it is but there is always more we can do, right?

Some things I already do would be:

Taking the kids to the playground

Letting the kids play with the water hose and making mud

Baking cookies together

Letting them jump on the bed

(I think not letting your kids do this is depriving them of a wonderful childhood memory :)

Going for ice cream cones

Having picnics in the yard

But I need some more fun ideas!

And that is where you come in!

Now I have some ideas of my own and some ideas from that MOPS meeting but I want to get your input first. Leave me a comment with some fun ideas and you can win a prize. This could be individualized fun, family fun, food fun, prayer fun, ANYTHING!! Give me all your ideas!

If you write a post about my contest on your blog I will put your name in 2 times (just let me know that you have done this)! Abriella and I will draw a winner next Thursday (the 22nd) at noon (est).

Do you want to know what you can win?

A Satsuma Shower Gel & Satsuma Puree Lotion from The Body Shop

AND....

Your choice of TWO different Mini Body Butters!

(Strawberry, Coconut, Mango, Brazil Nut, Satsuma, Cocoa Butter, Almond)

The next week I will put together a blog post with every one's wonderful idea's so that you too can join me in some Summer Fun!!

Happy Fun Planning!!!

As you Requested

I have had a few people tell me that the picture I posted of Abe & his new haircut was not very good. But you have to know that my son DOES NOT look at the camera for nothing!!!

So here is a series of pictures from today that will show you the different angles of his cute little bald head :)

playing with water in the watering can

Deciding it would be a good idea to drink the water
Wining to me because he is now all wet
(this boy does not like his feet, hands, or any part of his body to be wet or dirty outside)

And since his mother has the blasted camera in her hands he is calling Abriella to help him fill his watering can again.

Abriella to the rescue for some more water fun!

And just for kicks, I wanted to show you this beautiful tree in our yard. The color is amazing and it smells wonderful!

What did I do!?

Who's heads are these?

Sam & Tarrah wouldn't do something as drastic as shaving off Abe's hair!

Who is that kid Sam's holding?

But we did!
Can you believe it?!!!
I was outside shaving Sam's hair with the clippers and Sam made a comment about doing Abe's and I flew with the idea. We asked Abe if he wanted his hair cut, he said yes, and he sat in Sam's lap while I did the 1st strip. As soon as I did it I gasped. What did I just do!?
He did soooo well. He just sat there and kept grabbing at the 2 inches of hair falling off his head :)
After his shower with papa, and after I gave my first kisses on his bald head I fell in love with his new look. I love it!

On another note, I planted some annuals in our flower pots today. I have never done this before and spent over and hour trying to pick out the flowers. So they are really basic but I hope they look great after they fill the pots.
I also got a couple Gerber Daisey's to plant.
I think these might be my favorite flowers ever!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

Feeling Young @ 27 weeks pregnant

Roses from my wonderful husband

Just yesterday I was marveling at the fact that we were getting much older. I asked Sam if he remembered being in High School and thinking the 30 was old and so far away. When we were in Junior High, High School students looked so old.

Now look at us, Sam is turning 30 next month and we are about to have our 3rd child. Life just goes crazy fast sometimes. Yesterday I just really felt it. But then to day I meet my new best friend :) The lady at the gas station saw that I was pregnant and asked when I was due. Then she asked if this was my first. When I told her it would be my 3rd she gave me a shocked look and told me I looked so young. I told her thank you and have been feeling great ever since :).

But I know, we 30 year olds look to old people like High School students look to us.... Just much younger than we really are.

Sam and Abriella sharing a little grass tasting

The 27 week belly
And let me tell you, this belly has been jiggling with kicks and punches all day! I love it!!!!

A Meme that I was not tagged for :)

I've seen this Meme going around and thought it looked like fun so when Andrea did it last night and invited everyone to do it I took it as an invitation :)

What was I doing 10 Years ago: I was graduating High school. That summer (1998) I went with my best friend to Kodiak Alaska and worked in a Canning Factory. We had a great time and I learned a lot about fish (I have now forgotten it all). We made money and I got to see Alaska. It was the time of year where you could be out at midnight and the sun was still shinning. And on one weekend we went camping and right outside our camper, walking down the road, was a huge buffalo, it was incredible!

Five things on my to-do list for today: GO FOR A WALK!, it's been a week since I walked and I am feeling it. Plan my dinners for the week (I am so not into cooking right now, but I need to feed my family). Moping my floors (they are pretty grungy right now). Washing the car and taking pictures of it to put it up for sale. Find a babysitter for tomorrow so Sam and I can go test drive some vans.

Things I would do if I were a Billionaire: I would adopt a child with no financial worries (a 3 or 4 year old). Move to North Carolina close to the coast. Have a house with a fenced in yard. And really pray about where I can donate and help to serve the Lord. But really, I think having that much money would cause too many problems so I don't really want it :) But one other thing I would for sure have would be a boat!

Three of my bad habits: I have serious issues with bugs! I get bit so much through the summer and I itch my bites like crazy. I have to clip my nails way down to try not scratching. I really really love ice cream and can not have it in the house :). I am a horrible procrastinator when it comes to some things.

Five places I have lived: I grew up near Seattle, Washington. Moved to San Diego to marry Sam. Moved to Rhode Island when he got out of the Navy. And am now in Vermont. Hopefully my 5th state will be soon :)

Five Jobs I have had: My first job was at Hallmark (I couldn't stand it, way too much dusting involved). Secretary/office assistant at a few different dealerships. For 2 years I was a new/used vehicle sales woman at a great Toyota Dealership (I loved this Job). In San Diego I worked for some Dr.'s at Keiser Medical (office stuff). Then here in Vermont I was a property Manager for a real estate office handling all their rentals. But of course the best job I have ever had would be being a wife and mother.

Five people I want to know more about: I also do not want to choose anyone specific, so if you would enjoy doing it then I would enjoy reading it. Have fun!

Pictures Galore

As promised, I wanted to give you some picture from our Zoo trip and the couple times we went to the beach. We had such a great time and the kids really had a blast together. They are really missing all the playing right now :)

The 5 cousins

Abe pretty much adored Javen! They just couldn't get enough of each other.

They all really do have a since of humor :)

But really... On to the important stuff people. There are tractors here at the zoo!!!!

Abe could have cared less about all the animals but I can promise you that he spotted every truck and tractor in the place. He really is ALL boy :) (they were doing lots of construction)

That night Sally and I took 4 of the kids to the beach. It was so nice to smell and feel the ocean air. I really hope I live close to the beach again someday. Abriella completely filled her pockets with rocks and shells and they all had a great time throwing rocks into the water.

I already told you about the connection between Abe and Javen, Well here is Abriella and Lena, they are pretty much the same way :) Girl love!

On the day we were leaving we went to the beach one more time just us and Sam's mom. It was a beautiful morning!

After here, we went for Clam Chowder and Clam cakes. They were soooo delicious!

Me and my Boy

Have I ever told you how much I LOVE having a boy!
I do... Really!

We are headed home today from Rhode Island. We had a wonderful time and are going to miss them very much. I have a zoo trip and a Beach trip to tell you about when I get a chance.

Hope your having a wonderful week.

Pierced

We are in Rhode Island with family this week and Sally had a wonderful idea to take our girls to get their ears pierced. I have been wanting Abriella to have them pierced for a long time but we wanted to wait for her to want to. She has really wanted nothing to do with it no matter what we said to her because she knew it was going to hurt.

Well after a lot of convincing and showing her a few things she finally got excited about it.

We got to the mall and the girls got to pick out matching earrings, the pink flowers of course :) Then Abriella sat on my lap and waited with me while holding a bear. She was very happy with the store because there was pink everywhere, and this girl is such a pink girl right now :). They marked her ears, and thank goodness they did them both at the same time.

Still excited

Making the little marks so that they would be even.

Now.... They did the holes at the count of three and there was a long pause from Abriella. No noise then there was the fall of the face... realizing what just happened......

And the crying.

But Papa's arms and a lollipop made everything much better.

Then we all went out for some Ice Cream and life was Good!!

She even had pink bubblegum ice cream :)

And Abe... Oh how he has a love for Ice Cream already :)

WWWAT- Self-Portrait

"I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14

It's time for Wordless Wednesday With A Twist again. Rachel hosts this fun event over at American Mum. You can go over and check out some other creative Self-Portraits.

I was not going to participate this week, I mean really, I'm 6 months pregnant and not feeling all that flattering. But Andrea kinda convinced me today so I asked Sam if he would do a little photo shoot for me. He quickly agreed to and we headed outside.

Here are the photos, I hope you enjoy

Little

Sometimes he looks so small :)

More pictures and stories of our weekend to come, I'm just too tired tonight.

April 23, 2008

Our Wednesday

My little girl is so sick! Now Abriella is the type that if she has a cold you can hardly tell. She will have a slight runny nose and will sneeze a few times but all in all she is the same little girl. Well this cold is a different story. It hit her on Monday afternoon and has gone down hill ever since. She has fevers, runny nose, a horrible cough, glossy eyes, and no energy.

She hasn't been like this all year, and I feel so bad for her. We have been very blessed this year with only a few colds going through our house. No flu's or stomach bugs and hopefully we'll stay that way.

She and Abe were in bed by 7:30 tonight and hopefully they will both wake up refreshed.

BTW.. Abe had the cold too just nothing like her.

Today was really relaxing and enjoyable though. We went for a great walk this morning, then played outside. For lunch we had our first picnic outside, the kids loved it. Then after a 2 hour nap for each of them we went to the playground. A beautiful fresh air filled day!

The swing was almost putting him to sleep before nap

Change

This morning I went on my walk and my mind was just a swirling. It was so beautiful. I changed my walking route and am pretty much in love with it. I used to do about a 3.15 mile walk but there was a long stretch that did not have a sidewalk and had quite a bit of traffic. Then there was another section that had the sidewalk but it was on a main street. I never really loved it, it just wasn't very peaceful.

Well this new walk is exactly 3.5 miles and so beautiful. I mapped it out on this wonderful site. It involves all sidewalks, hardly any cars, a beautiful neighborhood with a view of a lake and a couple horses, and it even has a few hills to work me a little harder. I love it!!!

But it got me thinking about how much I love and embrace change. I have always been this way and I'm beginning to accept the fact that this is who I am. I have always thought that it might be a problem because I'm never really settled but if I really think about it it's just that I enjoy the change and look forward to new opportunities.

After high school I really wanted to become a flight Attendant with United. I almost made it 2 different times but God had other plans for me, I can see that now. You know, the whole meeting my husband thing :). And then Sam and I have moved several times and don't feel like we are done moving yet. I am truly thankful though for every single one of those moves. We have grown so much through them and we have learned so much about who we are and what we are looking for in a home to settle down in. It's so exciting to look back and see how the Lord has helped us grow and gets me even more excited to think about what He has planned for our future. I just pray we hear His guidance right and live the life He has planned for us.

Here's to more change!

Random Facts Meme

I have been tagged by On Fire for Jesus and My little bit of peace & quiet in the last couple weeks and I thought I would finally participate.

Both memes were a little different but the same thought, to list some weird or random facts about myself. Now I have to tell you that I could only think of 2 so I needed some help from my husband. I asked him in the morning and it has taken us all day to come up with a list. I know, I just sound so normal don't I? (all my family members who have anything to say about this can just stay quiet)

1. I am a muffin flipper! I can not eat a muffin unless I take it out of the paper and eat from the bottom up. The top is the BEST part and I just have to save it for last

2. We have an ongoing argument between Sam, me, and now my daughter. Sam says my hair is black but I insist that my hair is brown, and Abriella, it depends on who she wants to suck up to at the moment. If she is feeling loving towards me she will tell me my hair is brown just out of the blue :)

3. I used to think cheddar cheese was naturally orange. In Washington state where I grew up we always had orange cheddar. The first time we went to a restaurant when we moved over here I ordered a cheese burger with cheddar. Well when they brought me the burger with this white cheese on it I told the waitress that I ordered cheddar. She then, and every one at the table, had to inform me that it was cheddar. Now to eat orange cheddar is just wrong to me.

4. In order for me to go for a walk or run I have to know the mileage that I'm going before I go. The thought of winging it is just way too much for me to handle. I need to keep track of how far I'm going

5. You know how people over here on the East Coast call fried dough.... fried dough. Well I think that is just way too plain. Us creative people from the West Coast... we call it Elephant Ears. They are just delicious and calling it fried dough just isn't enough for me :)

So there you go, I am just way too normal and can't come up with anything else.

I tag Sally, Sarah, Aleah, & Wendy if you guys want to play along.

The 1st of many.... or maybe not

Tonight we had to drop Sam's truck off at the shop and decided to take the kids (& myself of course) to the Creamee stand down the road. It was a beautiful night and Abriella got to see one of her classmates who was also there having ice cream.

Creamee's here in New England is just soft serve ice cream really. Where I grew up they didn't have this :)

So it was the 1st of the season and they were very good. But I don't really know if I will do it again after dinner. Abe wanted to hold it but he wanted to lay it down or hand it to us, ice cream part first, or just walk around with it and take a bite every few minutes. Every time we tried to take it away to lick it up he would throw a fit. It was quite a production and we quickly just put an end to it and went home.

Abriella and I enjoyed it but Abe on the other hand needs a little more experience :)

Frustration

I love my children and even on our bad days I wouldn't trade them for the world. I am very thankful for what the Lord has given to me and want to cherish my children for the rest of my life... Unconditionally!

It really really bothers me when older (40ish) people tell me "If I knew then what I know now I would never have had children". How can someone say this?!

This has happened twice to me from the same person (a gentleman in our church). He hadn't been there in a little while and he saw me today and asked if I was pregnant. I told him yes and that we were very excited. He proceeded to tell me how awful it was. And if he could do it over again he would never have kids.

Now this is a guy who is married to a sweet lady and they bring their 2 granddaughters with them to church. How can you possibly regret having children when you have 2 beautiful precious grandchildren to show for it. I just don't get it.

And it is not something you should be saying to a pregnant lady.

I just told him that I thought he was in the minority in thinking that. He said if I talked to anyone his age they would probably say the same thing. So I proceeded to tell him that I have talked to many people his age and have never heard anyone say that so I really did think he was in the minority with that kind of thinking. He just kinda looked at me and maybe now he won't ever talk to me about that again.

No matter how tough it gets at times and no matter who they turn into when their older I will never wish I didn't have kids. They are the most precious gifts God has given me and I hope I take care of and train up these gifts how He wants me to. And I will never say to anyone that I wish I could do it over again because it was awful.

Spontanious

Today was one of those days that nothing was planned. I love those days! Abriella asked me last night what we were going to do today and it was so nice to say "we'll have to see". The kids woke up at 6:30 and at 8:30 I decided that we were going to the Sand Bar. It's closed for the season but you can still go in. I packed up a snack and we were off around 9:15. It was already in the mid 50's and so beautiful out. The kids had a wonderful time and it was just great to slow down and enjoy the day.

We brought our buckets and shovels so the kids could plan in the sand. Their pants got quite wet but they had a great time.

Snack time consisted of Apples, cheese & crackers. The tables are still put away so we had to just eat walking around :)

Abriella loves to do anything with sticks so she got a little creative while Abe and I .......
..... did some swinging. HE HAD A BALL! I showed him what he had to do to hold on and he pretty much didn't get off. He had giggles, was leaning backwards, and kept wanting more pushes. It was so fun to see.

Then we just relaxed for the day and for dinner I packed up some tuna sandwiches for the kids and went on my walk. I even did a few loads of laundry today :)

My Sis-in-Law

Sam's sister and hef wonderful family live in Rhode Island and we don't get to see them very often. She has 3 wonderful, smart, beautiful, and greatly missed children and is a wonderful mother.

The only thing about this sister-in-law is that it's like pulling teeth to get her to email pictures of the kids. It just never happens :)

Well guess what, I have finally convinced her to start a blog. She will have some wonderful things to say and finally I get to see her children on a weekly basis at least.

Go on over and welcome her to the blog world

Flip Flops

This morning I took Abriella to school and Abe & I went to the store for a couple things, which included Cantaloupe, strawberries, and cucumbers (some favorites in this house). Then Abe and I enjoyed a fruit smoothie together and I got to clean up a little bit.

I was on the phone with my sis-in-law and when we hung up I realized I had to leave right then to get Abriella. I swooped up Abe, us in our t-shirts, didn't even put shoes on him, slipped on my flip flops and I was out the door in 3 seconds flat! :)

It's 72 degrees right now, I have windows open, birds are singing, I just mopped my floor with some wonderful Lavender smelling cleaner (thank you Andrea), and the kids just went down for a nap.

Can I get an Ahhhhhh

I promise, this is the last post about my spring fever and how much I'm enjoying this weather :)

April 16, 2008

A sunny day & a heart beat

It was such a beautiful day today! I just can't get enough of it. Abriella and I did some errands together and neither of us wore coats, there is really not too much better than that right now in my life :)

Tonight Sam took Abriella to Awana and I got to stay behind with Abe and go on my walk. My walks have been a little tough lately for some reason and tonight was even worse. I get really crampy in the lower ab area and I can't seem to walk as fast as I normally do. I also get so tired quickly into it. Tonight I was getting really sore and ended up having to hold my belly up part of the time. It was such a releaf to do that. Do they make some kind of belly girdel for things like that. I really don't want to have to wear anything like that but I can't handle the soarness anymore and I'm not going to stop walking.

On a better note, I had a Dr. apt today and got to hear the heart beat. I love it! The baby is moving a ton now and Sam even got to feel it a couple times. This part of the pregnancy I absolutely love but I have to tell you, this 3rd one is tough. I just don't have the time and energy to be pregnant with this one. I'm only 23 weeks into it and already feeling pretty much done. But this too shall pass and the time will go by quicker than I think.

Sunshine!

I can not express to you how much this picture brings happiness in my heart :)

I just got back from my walk and the sun is shinning bright, buds are blooming on the trees, flowers are popping up, and the grass is turning green.

Winters here in Vermont allow you to really enjoy spring to it's fullest!

And the rumor has it that tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70's and the whole week is supposed to be nice.

Here come the sandals!!!

I'm not giving up

Meet Betta fish #4, aka "Curious". And let me inform you that this is Betta #4 since we moved into this house 5 months ago. Yes, this fish may be doomed but I am going to try my hardest to keep this one alive.

The first one was "Zippy". He died while I was on a trip to Texas, I really don't know what happened to him. "Zippy #2" was my little buddy. He had once jumped out of the water and landed on the counter while I was cooking but I quickly got him back in and he was fine. But one day I decided to clean/change his water. And with out feeling the water first and being the impatient person I am he went into shock from the water temp and died.

Now "Zippy #3" (Abriella keeps wanting to name them this), was different than the other 2. He was Red instead of blue (Abriella likes repetition but I needed a change), and he loved to sit in the middle of the plant. I loved it and I loved seeing his beautiful color. But this one only lasted a couple weeks. One day while I was not in the kitchen he also jumped out of the water but landed in a can full of oil. He did not make it and was found when I went to feed him.

I'm not giving up!!! I went to the pet store today, got a beautiful Yellow Betta and TOLD Abriella I was giving it a different name. I decided on "Curious" because he hasn't stopped swimming around looking at everything all day.

He's beautiful and I love watching fish while I'm at the sink doing dishes or cooking in the kitchen. This one better live for a long time because I'm running low on $5 bills!

It stinks!!

Can I tell you how much it stinks when your really great friends move away. It really stinks!!! Saturday we spent all day with the Hub Family and then they were off to start their new season in life. But we are left here. I did fairly well until today. I had to go to their house to do a couple things for them and as soon as I parked in the driveway it was all over.

Abe was in the back seat getting excited, Abriella got out of the car and ran over to the barrel things (don't know what their called) where all the kids would play and make "mud soup", then we walked into the empty cold house. The look on the kids face made tears come to my eyes. The look of "why aren't my friends here". Abriella knew they wouldn't be there but I think the sight of all their stuff gone too was a little shocking. They ran around and looked in all the rooms and a few minuts later Abriella came up to me crying saying she wanted to see Eve again. This is a little much for a pregnant emotional woman right now :)

You know in movies how they'll show people looking at a certain area and you can see the memory their seeing. Well, ya, that kept happening to me. I kept hearing the kids running around, seeing us all eating dinner together, seeing the kids playing in their favorite spots outside, seeing two precious babies being born in the living room, Andrea and I cooking in the kitchen, everything.

God puts people in your lives for a reason and I know God put their family in our lives at the perfect time. Andrea and I have had this discussion before and her and I were praying at the same time for a friend in the same way. To find someone you can really connect with, be yourself around, share similar parenting, husbands share a special bond, and just someone that you can see then talk on the phone forever with is just really hard to find. When you do you don't want to have to say goodbye.

I talked to Andrea last night and I had a weird feeling in my stomach, yes we are going to talk and stay in touch but we can't just get together spontaneously anymore. And it really stinks!

These past few weeks, preparing for them to leave, has also made it really hard not having my best friend who lives in Washington here. I've known Shannon since I was in kindergarten and we share so much. I can't stand the fact that we don't live near each other either.

True, intimate friendships are so hard to find and I just want to grab onto them and never let go. Don't take them for granted.

Today I'm just sad

A Quote from Abriella

I'm in the bathroom at the sink. Abriella comes in to go to the bathroom. As she's sitting down I hear....

" Your butt's getting bigger and bigger and bigger cause your having a baby"

Thank you my sweet sweet daughter

Just a GREAT idea

My children LOVE yogurt. A little while ago my friend introduced me to this great idea... Yogurt in a cup! I know they have those drinkable yogurts but I just can't bring my self to pay the money for those. But this way you just buy the kids cups with lids and straws, put the yogurt in and you have breakfast or a snack on the go. It also works great here at home because Abe pretty much wants nothing to do with me feeding him and to let him eat yogurt with a spoon is just sometimes way too much to handle these days. So he does great with this cup in the house.

Just thought I would pass this little idea along to you all.

Just Beautiful

The weather has just been amazing and the kids are loving it outside finally. What's better than no coats, dirt digging, and swinging? Really!?

10 on 10 in April

For a couple months now I have been enjoying a couple blogs that participate in Ten on Ten. The purpose of these posts is to take a picture every hour for 10 hours on the 10th of every month. It seemed like a lot of fun to do and I wanted to join in.

I wanted to take you through my day by taking a picture of what I was doing in every hour. Some people do different things. I do have to say though that it's a little harder to do than you think. My day was a little different as I had two other kids for the day, but I forgot to take a picture of a few hours.

So I don't have all Ten but I still wanted to participate

For more 10 on 10 you can visit here

Around 9AM I was finishing my walk

( I forgot to take my camera with me )

Around 10ish - Built an amazing tent for the kids :)

11:30 - Lunch for 4

1:30 - Naps for 4

2ish - Quiet time with hot cocoa for one momma

3ish - Shower for one momma :)

4:30 - Everyone outside enjoying the sunshine

(notice in this picture that the girls are staring and amazed with the green grass coming out. I guess it's been a while for green around here :)

5:15 - Getting ready to go inside

6:30 - Finishing up dinner

(sorry, no exciting picture of this hour)

7:30 - Finishing up our in-home bible study

That was my day, very full and very much fun. Next month it won't be so wordy and I will have all the pictures :)

The number Four

Abriella and Abe have 3 wonderful cousins who live in Rhode Island. We don't get to see them very often but when we do we have so much fun getting the kids together. When we only had Abriella and even when Abe was a little baby I used to watch the 4 kids together. I always loved it, all just a little different in size, enjoying playing with each other or in separate groups, 4 meals to get ready, 4 kids teeth to brush, 4 kids marching their way to their beds. I've always loved it!!!

Well today is another 4 day. Eve and Judah came over early this morning and is spending the day with us since movers are at their house as I type this (very sad). It is so much fun, I feel like I can conquer the world :) We built a tent in the living room together, they played outside, We all ate lunch together, and now they are all napping. Yes they are ALL quiet in their own beds :) I feel so good :). I'm looking forward to taking them outside again later, possibly having them all for dinner, and trying to take enough pictures to have for memories.

I know we're not done having kids. I have too much of a desire to have at least 4 children, maybe even having 5 :) I have too much love to give and too many years left of little voices and laughter.

The Color Yellow

It's Wordless Wednesday with a Twist again. Rachel choose the theme of using a color so I choose yellow. I took some pictures a week ago when there was still snow on the ground and then I chose a few things inside using black & white as the background.

A few more pics

We've had some busy days around here with some really wonderful weather. Finally spring is here, snow is just about gone (in our area anyways), and we can actually be outside with no coats on. I absolutely love it.

And by the way, I just looked at the wall and I saw a mosquito, yes, spring is here and here come the bug bites.

Anyways, On Sunday I had a pampered Chef party. It was a beautiful day and a great time. Afterwards the Hubs stayed over and had dinner with us. We got to take the kids outside for quite a while and Sam and Daniel threw the football around. Here are some pics:

The big boys climbed the trees. It was pretty scary to see how far up they were.
